Newborn babies are one of the most precious things in the world. They grow into children, and adults, and yet still remain just as close to our hearts as mom and dad. Our memory gets cloudy with time, but those newborn photos of your little treasure will stay clear and beautiful forever, so you can remember every little detail when they are all grown up.
Are You Ready to Book a Newborn Photo shoot?
It will be difficult for first-time parents to know when the time is right. I would suggest contacting a photographer early (at least two months before your due date) and plan a session in the first two weeks after the birth. Unless you know you would prefer to wait, do it early. You cannot go back in time, while you can ask a photographer to come back later.
In order to capture your newborn in adorable curly poses, you should take newborn photos 5-14days after giving birth. If you want your baby’s sleepy and curly newborn demeanor to be photographed, try not to wait any longer than two weeks for the newborn photography session.
However, don’t be frustrated if you missed the first two weeks. You also can take newborn photos 15-22days, but it will be fewer poses and concepts to choose from. Babies begin to stretch and extend their arms and legs after two weeks. Your newborn will likely be awake or hard to settle during the session. More wrapped pose will be used during the session which can help your baby more comfortable and secure. Expression and details shoot also help to documentary your babies’ precious moment.
The newborn photoshoot is quite literally a once in a lifetime event, and there’s only a small window to have them done, but it’s so worth the effort to be able to look back on those memories forever.
